It has been a while, but finally the code has got changes, new executables were compiled and prepared for testing. This is the first public beta of eMule 0.60a. Internally, the changes are extensive; there are security improvements and optimisations, a few bugs and regressions were fixed. All that might be, and in many cases should be, invisible to users. The visible side of the changes should be: SMTP email notifications can use secure transmission and user authentication HTTPS can be used for downloading  server.met ,  nodes.dat ,  IP filter  and  language DLL s servers: first connection is tried as obfuscated (often server capabilities were unknown at the time) minor increase in KAD publishing rate Windows UPnP implementation got changes (and needs field testing) improved compatibility with the latest versions of mediainfo.dll, including 20.08 uniform checks for data rate limits parts import for handling broken downloads (should be enabled in Options->Exte...

New modification of official eMule v0.50b dev code Mainly UI changes with many useful features under the hood ;) A light version of ClientAnalyzer for tracing bad clients is integrated. And many others... check it out, but keep in mind it's not a final 0.50b and might be bugs or crashes. It's not a leecher mod and all is official code inside. At moment only english. Feedback is desirable. Tip #1: If you start this mod new, Apex download at connect to kad or server, automaticly newest nodes.dat or server.met. Also you can do this manuel for servers with rightclick menu in serverwindow or kad with a double click on statusbar kad contacts. Tip #2: You can switch progressbar display in options/display/smooth progressbar. Tip #3: Some features are default disabled like category. Dear eMule users, it has been a few weeks months years since the last eMule version saw the light of the day, but finally a successor is about to be completed. As the name indicates 0.50b is a more of a maintenance release, focusing on bugfixes and smaller improvements. The most important one is the reworking of the upload code and better IO handling, which allows eMule to more efficiently handle high bandwidth lines, utilizing the full upload capacity (which means others can download faster). Other changes include optimized internal handling of the AICH hashes, the replacement of the (defunct) Filedonkey search option with the ContentDB and the update of used libraries, like miniupnpc making UPnP compatible with more devices.
