Apologies for the recent downtime; I've been busy hardening our DNS configurations for enhanced security (Global HTTPS/TLS). A full site redesign (CSS, HTML, JS, and AI-integrated features) is underway to optimize our new CDN backbone and eliminate legacy graphical debt. Stay tuned. The audit never stops. Wireshark 0.99.8 Released

Wireshark 0.99.8 has been released.

Wireshark (formerly Ethereal) is a network protocol analyzer for Unix and Windows. It allows you to examine data from a live network or from a capture file on disk. You can interactively browse the capture data, viewing summary and detail information for each packet. Has several powerful features, including a rich display filter language and the ability to view the reconstructed stream of a TCP session.

Security-related vulnerabilities in the SCTP, SNMP, and TFTP dissectors have been fixed. See the advisory for details.
This release adds configuration profiles, temporary coloring rules, enhanced I/O graphs, WLAN traffic statistics, and many other useful features.
