BleachBit frees disk space and maintains privacy. Cleans cache, Internet history, temporary files, cookies, and broken shortcuts. Cleans Bash, Firefox, Flash, Google Earth, Internet Explorer, Java, KDE, OpenOffice.org, Opera, RealPlayer, Safari, and many more


BleachBit is a free open source system cleaner for Linux and Windows. BleachBit is capable to optimize modern webbrowser sqlite3 databases (vacuuming). The program can clean the system registry.

Bugfixes:

- Wiping memory -- segmentation fault (core dumped)
- only one option per clear honored
- thick, fat warning for Deep Scan
- Hide irrelevant cleaners doesn't work
- BleachBit under Windows (installed version) does not start
- Bonus pack won't install
- BleachBit doesn't start the first time
- Some new path, that could be cleaned (windows vista)
- new-cleaner Gwenview
